What is e-Prescribing?
Electronic prescribing, or “e-Prescribing” is a technology framework that allows physicians, nurse practitioners, medical practitioners to write and share prescriptions to a participating pharmacy electronically instead of using handwritten or faxed notes or calling in prescriptions.
